Business Permanent Visa (Subclass 888)

For holders of Subclass 188 who meet eligibility for permanent residency.

This is a permanent residency visa for individuals who have held a Subclass 188 visa and met all the necessary requirements under their stream. It allows successful business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs to live, work, and settle in Australia permanently.

Business Talent Visa (Subclass 132)

A direct PR visa for high-caliber business owners (now mostly closed to new applicants).

The Subclass 132 visa was a direct permanent residency (PR) visa for high-caliber business owners and entrepreneurs nominated by an Australian state or territory government. It allowed individuals with a proven track record of successful business ownership or high-value investment to establish or develop a business in Australia.

Important Update:

The Subclass 132 visa was closed to new applicants from July 1, 2021, as part of the Australian Government’s visa program reforms. However, those who have already been granted the visa or applied before the closure date can still proceed with their migration and business activities in Australia.

Global Talent Visa (GTI)

For high-performing individuals in targeted sectors such as:

The Global Talent Visa is a fast-tracked permanent residency pathway for highly skilled individuals who are internationally recognized in targeted future-focused sectors such as:
• AgTech, FinTech, MedTech
• Cyber Security, Advanced Manufacturing

Applicants must demonstrate exceptional talent or outstanding achievements in their field and be able to earn a high income in Australia. A nomination by an Australian organization or individual with national reputation is required.

Global Talent Employer Sponsored (GTES)

Allows employers to sponsor highly-skilled overseas workers in niche fields.

The GTES program allows approved Australian employers to sponsor highly-skilled overseas workers for roles that cannot be filled locally and are not covered under standard visa programs. It’s designed for niche, emerging, or highly specialized positions—especially in tech, innovation, and advanced industries.
